Regina Brett's Fifty Life Lessons: The First Lesson

I have first read Regina Brett's "Forty-Five Life Lessons and Five To Grow On" from living life fully two years ago. Until it has become an internet sensation and it's title was changed to Fifty Life Lessons. Brett is a writer and a Pulitzer Nominee. Though these lessons hit the net a couple of years ago, still it hit me as I read it over and over again. Here, I share my thoughts on her every lesson. The following is the first.

Lesson Number One: Life isn't fair, but it's still good.

According to Regina and to other people, life isn't fair. It just seems to be so. This is what I believe. For me, how can life be unfair when we all breath the same air that is available for anybody, rich and poor alike? How can life be unfair when we all can call on the same God anytime and anywhere? How can life be unfair when we all can smile or laugh depending on ourselves?
If we were born poor while others were born rich without our choices, it still isn't unfair because if we choose to be rich we could become rich depending on our effort of getting rich. Often others who were born rich, but with poor knowledge and skills of maintaining the wealth that has been bestowed on them upon birth will eventually become poor.

I repeat I don't believe in the unfairness of life, but I do believe in the goodness of life. Yeah, life is good, because God is. We just have to tap His power within us, and boom life is well and good.

     Get Happy!
